Abstract
Ovo istraživanje bavi se analizom ekonomskih i korisničkih aspekata usvajanja servisa za igranje u oblaku, sa posebnim osvrtom na tehničke specifikacije, ekonomske prednosti i izazove, ključne aspekte korisničkog iskustva, te razvoj i tržišnu poziciju igranja u oblaku u proteklim godinama. Analiza je provedena kroz empirijsko istraživanje temeljeno na anketi distribuiranoj među korisnicima usluga igranja u oblaku. Rezultati istraživanja otkrivaju da tehničke specifikacije poput brzine interneta i latencije imaju značajan utjecaj na korisničko iskustvo, što direktno utječe na percepciju vrijednosti i spremnost korisnika na plaćanje usluga. Iako igranje u oblaku nudi ekonomske prednosti u usporedbi s tradicionalnim gaming platformama, izazovi kao što su osjećaj vlasništva nad digitalnim proizvodima i visoki operativni troškovi predstavljaju prepreke za šire prihvaćanje. Rezultati analize pokazali su postojanje statistički značajne povezanosti između određenih aspekata korisničkog iskustva i razine usvajanja servisa za igranje u oblaku te postojanje statistički značajnih prediktora razine usvajanja igranja u oblaku. Unatoč postojećim izazovima kao što su visoka latencija i ograničena dostupnost igara, igranje u oblaku pokazuje potencijal za rast, posebno ako pružatelji usluga mogu adresirati ove ključne brige.
Abstract (english)
This research delves into the analysis of economic and user aspects of adopting cloud gaming services, focusing specifically on technical specifications, economic benefits and challenges, key aspects of user experience, and the development and market position of cloud gaming in recent years. The analysis was conducted through empirical research based on a survey distributed among cloud gaming service users. The research findings reveal that technical specifications such as internet speed and latency significantly impact user experience, which directly influences value perception and users' willingness to pay for services. Although cloud gaming offers economic advantages compared to traditional gaming platforms, challenges such as a sense of ownership over digital products and high operating costs present obstacles to broader acceptance. The results demonstrated statistically significant correlations between certain aspects of user experience and the level of adoption of cloud gaming services, as well as statistically significant predictors of the level of cloud gaming adoption. Despite existing challenges such as high latency and limited game availability, cloud gaming shows potential for growth, especially if service providers can address these key concerns.
