Abstract
U istraživanju percepcije lokalnog stanovništva o učincima turizma u Solinu analizirane su različite perspektive i stavovi prema ekonomskim, okolišnim, društvenim i kulturnim aspektima turizma. Fokus istraživanja bio je identificirati kako različite demografske skupine, poput mladih i starijih te osoba s različitim razinama obrazovanja, percipiraju utjecaje turizma na njihovu lokalnu zajednicu. Rezultati su pokazali da mlađi i obrazovaniji ispitanici češće percipiraju pozitivne ekonomske i društvene učinke turizma. Istovremeno, starije populacije i osobe s nižim razinama obrazovanja izražavaju veću zabrinutost zbog potencijalnih negativnih utjecaja na okoliš i kulturne vrijednosti. Drugi dio istraživanja istraživao je povezanost između percepcije učinaka turizma i podrške stanovnika daljnjem razvoju turizma u Solinu. Utvrđeno je da postoji snažna veza između pozitivne percepcije ekonomskih, društvenih, okolišnih i kulturnih učinaka turizma te podrške za daljnji razvoj turizma. To naglašava važnost uključivanja stanovništva u planiranje turizma kako bi se uskladile potrebe turista s interesima i očuvanjem resursa lokalne zajednice.
Abstract (english)
In the study of local residents' perceptions of tourism impacts in Solin, various perspectives and attitudes towards the economic, environmental, social, and cultural aspects of tourism were analyzed. The research focused on identifying how different demographic groups, such as the young and elderly, and individuals with varying levels of education, perceive the impacts of tourism on their local community. Results showed that younger and more educated respondents more often perceive positive economic and social impacts of tourism, while older populations and those with lower education levels express greater concern about potential negative effects on the environment and cultural values. The second part of the study investigated the relationship between perceptions of tourism impacts and local residents' support for further tourism development in Solin. It was found that there is a strong connection between positive perceptions of economic, social, environmental, and cultural impacts of tourism and support for continued tourism development. This underscores the importance of involving local residents in tourism planning to balance the needs of tourists with the interests and preservation of local community resources.
