Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu analiziraju se potencijali razvoja sportskog turizma na području grada Zagreba. Cilj rada je prikazati važnost sportskog turizma za razvoj turističkih destinacija odnosno grada Zagreba. Mogućnosti Zagreba kao destinacije sportskog turizma brojne su s obzirom na reljefnu raznolikost područja grada Zagreba te u odnosu na dobru prometnu povezanost s ostatkom Republike Hrvatske te s Europom kao glavnim emitivnim tržištem za ovaj specifični oblik turizma. Također, s obzirom na rastući interes poduzetnika za uključivanje u aktivnosti sportskog turizma, u ovom radu analiziraju se postojeća ponuda i potražnja sportskog turizma, kao i potencijali razvoja novih proizvoda i usluga sportskog turizma na ovom području, posebice u kontekstu poduzetničkih aktivnosti. Nadalje, analizom ponude i potražnje prikazuje se povezanost sportskog turizma i poduzetničkih aktivnosti. Primjerima poduzetničkih aktivnosti istražuju se potencijalni izvori financiranja, kao i karakteristike malih i srednjih poduzetnika u sportskom turizmu. Uzimajući u obzir popularnost sportskog turizma, potencijal u ovoj grani poduzetništva je velik, što će biti dovedeno u vezu s fizičkim pokazateljima turizma grada Zagreba u razdoblju od 2010. do 2021. godine. Za potrebe izrade diplomskog rada provedeno je primarno istraživanje putem dubinskih intervjua. U intervjuima su sudjelovali poduzetnici koji prepoznaju potencijal sportskog turizma na području grada Zagreba. Analiziran je njihov utjecaj na ponudu i potražnju sportskih aktivnosti zagrebačkog područja, kao i ograničenja i izazovi s kojim se susreću tijekom poslovanja. Glavni zaključak rada je da područje grada Zagreba ima veliki potencijal za razvoj poduzetničkih aktivnosti u okviru sportskog turizma, kao i za popularizaciju sportskih aktivnosti među turistima.
Abstract (english)
This master thesis analyzes potentials for development of sport tourism in the area of Zagreb, with the aim of emphasizing the importance of this special interest tourism for the growth of tourism destinations. The city of Zagreb offers numerous opportunities for developing sport tourism, due to the diverse terrain and excellent transportation connections within Croatia and Europe, as the main tourism generating markets for this special interest tourism. Also, considering the increasing interest of entrepreneurs in sports tourism activities, this thesis examines the current supply and demand of sport tourism, as well as the potential for new products and services in this area, particularly in the context of entrepreneurial activities. Furthermore, the connection between sport tourism and entrepreneurship is examined through the analysis the supply and demand. This includes potential sources of financing and the characteristics of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in the sports tourism industry. Given the popularity of sports tourism, there is significant potential for entrepreneurship in this field, as demonstrated by the physical indicators of tourism in the city of Zagreb in the period from 2010 to 2021. Primary research for this thesis was conducted through in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs who recognize potential of sport tourism in Zagreb area. The analysis examines the entrepreneurs’ impact on the supply and demand of sports activities, as well as limitations and challenges they face in their business. The main conclusion of this thesis is that Zagreb has great potential for the development of entrepreneurial activities within sport tourism and the popularization of sports activities among tourists.
