Abstract
Banke obavljaju različite vrste transakcija i aktivnosti kako bi poduprle svoje bankarsko poslovanje. Te transakcije mogu uključivati izvršavanje ili prihvaćanje plaćanja, trgovanje, poravnanje i namiru računa i skrbništvo. Poznavanje operativnih aspekata bankarstva vrlo je važno za razumijevanje vrijednosnog lanca bankarstva. Računovodstvo nam pruža informacije o tome je li određeno poslovanje ostvaruje profit, koji je novčani tok poslovanja, koja je trenutna vrijednost imovine i obveza poslovanja, i koji dijelovi poslovanja zapravo zarađuju novac.
Abstract (english)
Banks carry out different types of transactions and activities to support their banking operations. Such transactions may include the execution or acceptance of payments, trading, clearing and settlement of accounts and custodianship. Knowledge of the operational aspects of banking is very important for understanding the banking value chain. Accounting provides information on whether a particular business is profit-making, which is the cash flow of business, which is the current value of business assets and liabilities, and which parts of business actually make money.
