Abstract | Uključivanje redovite tjelovježbe u svakodnevni život bitan je aspekt promicanja uravnoteženog i zdravog načina života, što je jedan od najvećih izazova današnjice, a donosi brojne dobrobiti za fizičko i mentalno zdravlje. Industrija fitness centara doživjela je izuzetan rast posljednjih godina vođena tom sviješću populacije prolazeći kroz razne transformacije. Žene čine znatan dio korisnika fitness centara, naglašavajući potrebu za pristupom usmjerenim na korisnika koji zadovoljava njihove jedinstvene želje i potrebe koje nadilaze fizičko zdravlje, potičući osnaživanje, uključivost i osjećaj pripadnosti. Tradicionalno su se fitness centri često doživljavali kao prostori u kojima dominiraju muškarci. Žene su sada uključenije no ikada, zbog čega je ključno prepoznati njihove želje, potrebe i ispitati čimbenike njihovog zadovoljstva kvalitetom usluge. Ovaj rad daje pregled razvoja industrije fitness centara, ističući ključne trendove i čimbenike zadovoljstva koji su je oblikovali. Rad je imao za cilj ispitati zadovoljstvo korisnica kvalitetom usluge u fitness centrima. Istraživanje je provedeno putem upitnika, a sudjelovalo je 208 ispitanika, od čega su 194 žene, korisnice usluga fitness centara. Ispitala se važnost čimbenika zadovoljstva kao što su fizičko okruženje, ponašanje osoblja, kvaliteta programa i opreme te opće zadovoljstvo korisnica usluge fitness centara. Istraživanje je pokazalo da je većina ispitanica zadovoljna kvalitetom usluge u fitness centrima, no još uvijek ima područja za poboljšanje, kao što su čistoća i higijena, prenapučenost, nedovoljna oprema i neprofesionalno osoblje. Na temelju rezultata dato je nekoliko preporuka menadžmentu fitness centara povećanje kvalitete opreme i programa, edukacija zaposlenika, razvitak snažne online prisutnosti, uvođenje programa lojalnosti i slično, čijom se primjenom mogu diferencirati od konkurencije, povećati zadovoljstvo korisnica, te u konačnici dobiti lojalne korisnice koje će njihov fitness centar bez zadrške preporučiti drugima. |
Abstract (english) | Incorporating regular exercise into everyday life is an important aspect of promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle, which is one of the biggest challenges today, and brings numerous benefits for physical and mental health. The fitness center industry has experienced exceptional growth in recent years, driven by this awareness of the population, undergoing various transformations. Women make up a significant portion of fitness center users, highlighting the need for a user-centered approach that meets their unique wants and needs that go beyond physical health, encouraging empowerment, inclusion and a sense of belonging. Traditionally, fitness centers were often perceived as male-dominated spaces. Women are now more involved than ever, which is why it is crucial to recognize their wishes, needs and examine the factors of their satisfaction with the quality of service. This paper provides an overview of the development of the fitness center industry, highlighting the key trends and satisfaction factors that have shaped it. The aim of the paper was to examine the satisfaction of users with the quality of service in fitness centers. The research was conducted through a questionnaire, and 208 respondents participated, of which 194 were women, users of fitness center services. The importance of satisfaction factors such as the physical environment, the behavior of the staff, the quality of programs and equipment, and the general satisfaction of users of fitness center services was examined. The survey showed that most respondents are satisfied with the quality of service in fitness centers, but there are still areas for improvement, such as cleanliness and hygiene, overcrowding, insufficient equipment and unprofessional staff. Based on the results, several recommendations were given to the management of fitness centers: increasing the quality of equipment and programs, training employees, developing a strong online presence, introducing loyalty programs, etc., by applying which they can differentiate themselves from the competition, increase the satisfaction of users, and ultimately get loyal users who will recommend their fitness center to others without hesitation. |
