Abstract | Tema ovog diplomskog rada je primjena digitalnih tehnologija u unaprjeđenju hotelskog poslovanja, s fokusom na evoluciju digitalnog poslovanja, analizu trenutnog stanja hotelske industrije te analizu web stranica visokorangiranih hotela u Republici Hrvatskoj kroz prikupljanje primarnih podataka.
U prvom dijelu rada, prikazana je evolucija digitalnog poslovanja, obuhvaćajući prijelaz od tradicionalnih poslovnih modela prema modernim digitalnim poslovnim modelima. Analizirani su digitalni alati i tehnologije, poput online rezervacija, mobilnih aplikacija i pametnih hotelskih soba i shodno tome, njihova primjena u modernom hotelijerstvu.
Drugi dio rada posvećen je hotelskoj industriji, s posebnim naglaskom na održivost i trenutne trendove. Istražene su održive prakse u hotelijerstvu, uključujući energetski učinkovite sustave, upravljanje otpadom i podršku lokalnim zajednicama. Također, analizirani su aktualni trendovi poput digitalizacije usluga i personalizacije korisničkog iskustva.
Treći dio rada sadrži analizu web stranica 105 visokorangiranih hotela (4 i 5 zvjezdica) u Republici Hrvatskoj. Analiza je obuhvatila različite aspekte digitalne prisutnosti, uključujući dostupnost online rezervacija, prisutnost na društvenim mrežama, korištenje mobilnih aplikacija i newslettera, implementaciju sitemapa i drugih digitalnih alata. Rezultati istraživanja pružaju uvid u razinu digitalizacije hrvatskih hotela i nude preporuke za unaprjeđenje digitalne tehnologije.
U zaključku, rad naglašava važnost digitalnih tehnologija i održivih praksi za uspješno poslovanje u hotelskoj industriji, te pruža smjernice za daljnji razvoj i unapređenje hotelskih usluga. |
Abstract (english) | The topic of this thesis is the application of digital technologies in enhancing hotel business operations, with a focus on the evolution of digital business, analysis of the current state of the hotel industry, and an analysis of websites of top-ranked hotels in Croatia by collecting primary data.
In the first part of the thesis, the evolution of digital business is presented, encompassing the transition from traditional business models to modern digital business models. Digital tools and technologies, such as online reservations, mobile applications, and smart hotel rooms, are analyzed, along with their application in modern hospitality.
The second part of the thesis is dedicated to the hotel industry, with a special emphasis on sustainability and current trends. Sustainable practices in hospitality are explored, including energy-efficient systems, waste management, and support for local communities. Additionally, current trends such as digitalization of services and personalization of the customer experience are analyzed.
The third part of the thesis contains an analysis of websites of 105 top-ranked hotels (4 and 5 stars) in Croatia. The analysis covered various aspects of digital presence, including the availability of online reservations, presence on social media, use of mobile applications and newsletters, implementation of sitemaps, and other digital tools. The research results provide insight into the level of digitalization of Croatian hotels and offer recommendations for improving digital technology.
In conclusion, this thesis emphasizes the importance of digital technologies and sustainable practices for successful business operations in the hotel industry and provides guidelines for further development and enhancement of hotel services. |
