Abstract
Predmet rada je uloga i usporedba fondova rizičnog i skupnog financiranja pri financiranju startupova. Cilj rada prikazati izvore financiranja, pojmovno definirati startup poduzeće, te se osvrnuti na ulogu fondova rizičnog kapitala i skupnog financiranja u razvoju startup poduzeća. Također, cilj rada je prikazati analizu uspješnosti skupnog financiranja i fondova rizičnog kapitala na odabranim primjerima financiranja startup poduzeća. Primjeri prikazani u radu ilustriraju potrebu prilagođavanja odabira izvora financiranja jedinstvenim zahtjevima i situacijama startupa. Svaka opcija financiranja predstavlja različite prednosti i potencijalne nedostatke. Skupno financiranje, na primjer, može olakšati brzo stjecanje kapitala i posebno je povoljno za poduzeća koja se približavaju javnoj ponudi i žele izgraditi svoju publiku. Međutim, ovaj pristup financiranju zahtijeva temeljitu pripremu i učinkovito upravljanje očekivanjima. Nasuprot tome, fondovi rizičnog kapitala pružaju ne samo novčanu pomoć, već i strateško vodstvo i pristup vrijednoj mreži.
Abstract (english)
The subject of the paper is the role and comparison of venture capital and crowdfunding in the financing of startups. The aim of the paper is to show the sources of financing, conceptually define a startup company, and look at the role of venture capital and crowdfunding in the development of startup companies. Also, the aim of the paper is to present an analysis of the success of crowdfunding and venture capital funds on selected examples of financing startup companies. The examples presented in the paper illustrate the need to adapt the selection of funding sources to the unique requirements and situations of startups. Each financing option presents different advantages and potential disadvantages. Crowdfunding, for example, can make it easy to raise capital quickly and is especially beneficial for companies approaching an IPO that want to build their audience. However, this approach to financing requires thorough preparation and effective management of expectations. In contrast, venture capital funds provide not only financial assistance, but also strategic guidance and access to a valuable network.
