Abstract
Zbog prisutnih kontinuiranih promjena u vanjskom okruženju, poduzeća su primorana prilagoditi se u što kraćem roku kako bi dugoročno ostvarila ravnotežu i održivost. U posljednjih nekoliko godina sve veća važnost pridodaje se ESG čimbenicima (okolišni, društveni i pravni) koji postaju ključni u postizanju financijske stabilnosti. Također, veliki izazov predstavljaju i demografske promjene koje uključuju nisku stopu novorođene djece, visoku stopu starijeg stanovništva te emigraciju i imigraciju. U okviru analize ciljeva rad razmatra strategiju održivog poslovanja Valamar Riviere koja uključuje ciljeve poput zaštite klime i bioraznolikosti, povećanje broja domicilnih zaposlenika te povećanje udjela odgovornih dobavljača. Zaključak rada naglašava Valamar-ovu uspješnost u implementaciji strateških ciljeva u okviru postizanja dugoročne održivosti.
Abstract (english)
Due to the ongoing changes in the external environment, companies are forced to adapt as soon as possible in order to achieve long-term balance and sustainability. In the last few years, increasing importance has been attached to ESG factors (environmental, social and legal), which are becoming crucial in achieving financial stability. Demographic changes, which include a low rate of newborns, a high rate of elderly population, and emigration and immigration, are also a big challenge. Within the analysis of goals, the paper considers the sustainable business strategy of Valamar Riviera, which includes goals such as climate and biodiversity protection, increasing the number of domiciled employees and increasing the share of responsible suppliers. The conclusion of the paper emphasizes Valamar's success in implementing strategic goals within the framework of achieving long-term sustainability.
