Abstract
U radu se istražuje wellness kao dio zdravstvenog turizma. Objašnjavaju se osnovni pojmovi u zdravstvenom turizmu, kao i njegova obilježja i pogodnosti na zdravlje i kakvoću života. U radu se analiziraju osnovne karakteristike wellness ponude u hotelijerstvu, kao i programi koji se nude gostima prilikom boravka u wellness centru. Ciljevi istraživanja ovog rada su objasniti pojmove zdravstvenog turizma i wellnessa, utvrditi motive i profile korisnika wellness turizma, te utvrditi koje vrste wellness centara postoje, koliko su zastupljeni u hotelima i koje se usluge i programi mogu koristiti u njima. U istraživačkom dijelu rada fokusira se na zastupljenost pojedinih wellness programa u ponudi odabranih hotela u sastavu Milenij hotela d.o.o. Poseban naglasak je na samom hotelu Milenij koji ima vrhunski wellness centar. U radu se na primjeru hotela Milenij analizira popunjenost smještajnih jedinica te kako to utječe na rad wellness centra, a samim time i na ukupno poslovanje hotela.
Abstract (english)
This thesis will focus on wellness as a part of health tourism. It will define the basic concepts of health tourism as well as its attributes and benefits to both health and the quality of life. Also, it will analyze the characteristics of wellness offers in the hotel industry, and the different programs that guests can experience during their stay at a wellness center. Goals set before this research are explaining the basic concepts of health tourism and wellness, establish the motives and profiles of the health tourism consumer. It will also differentiate the various types of wellness centers, their presence in hotels, as well as the various services and programs that can be purchased. The research was primarily focused on the wellness program of the Milenij Hoteli d.o.o. hotel company, with special emphasis on their top-tier hotel “Milenij” and its state-of-the-art wellness center. On its example, we analyze how the occupancy rate of the hotel affects the wellness center, and the hotel itself.
