Abstract
Zadovoljstvo gostiju turističkom ponudom prvenstveno ovisi o kvaliteti usluge koju im pružaju turistički djelatnici. Kvaliteta je jedan od ključnih čimbenika za opstanak hotela na turističkom tržištu, zaslužna je za njegov uspjeh i razvoj te ostvarenje konkurentske prednosti. Standardizacija i kvaliteta su međusobno zavisni pojmovi obzirom da upravo standardi propisuju određenu kvalitetu. Rad se prije svega bazira na istraživanju kadrovskih standarda u hotelskom poslovanju. Utvrđuje se sama važnost provođenja standardizacije, važnost kadrova uopće, te se pobliže razrađuju kadrovski standardi, od poslovnog ponašanja, odijevanja, psihofizičkih osobina i slično. Glavni cilj istraživanja ovog rada odnosi se na utvrđivanje važnosti standardizacije u hotelskom poslovanju s naglaskom na kadrovske standarde te povezanost hotelskih standarda i uspješnosti poslovanja hotela. Istraživački dio rada odnosi se na konkretnu primjenu provođenja kadrovskih standarda u hotelima Milenij u Opatiji gdje se iznosi, analizira i kritički osvrće na njihov pristup standardizaciji.
Abstract (english)
Guest satisfaction with tourist offer depends in the first place on service quality offered by tourism workers. Quality is one of the main factors for hotel's existence on market, it is responsible for its success, development and achieving competitive advantage. Standardization and quality are interdependent terms, because standardization determines certain quality. This thesis is especially based on research of human resources in hotel business, importance of standardization and human resources are determined, with more details on business behavior, dress code, physical and psychological characteristics and the like. The main purpose of this thesis is determining standardization importance in hotel business, focusing on human resources standards and their connection to hotel success. Research part of the thesis refers to application of human resources standards in „Milenij“ hotels in Opatija. It consists of analysis and critical review of their approach to standardization.
