Abstract
Zaštita okoliša sve je veći problem današnjice koji mnoge zemlje pokušavaju riješiti uvođenjem brojnih ekonomskih mjera. Ekološki porezi jedan su od glavnih instrumenta kojim se nastoji regulirati cijelokupno poslovanje i svakodnevno funkcioniranje čovjeka unutar neke zemlje uz minimalno zagađenje okoliša i veću uštedu neobnovljivih prirodnih resursa. U ovom se radu teoretski objašnjavaju ekološki porezi sa svim svojim karakteristikama, vrstama, pravnom strukturom, prednostima i nedostacima. Kako bi se bolje razumjela njihova uloga i smisao provedeno je istraživanje na temelju najnovijih podataka o ekološkim porezima u Republici Hrvatskoj i zemljama članicama Europske unije te na kraju donesen zaključak. Iako je Republika Hrvatska nedavno pristupila Europskoj uniji već se vidi veliki napredak u cjelokupnoj harmonizaciji s zajednicom pa tako i u uvođenju te provođenju ekoloških poreza.
Abstract (english)
Protecting the environment is a growing problem today that many countries are trying to solve the introduction of a number of economic measures. Environmental taxes are one of the main instrument, which seeks to regulate all business operations and daily functioning of man within a country with a minimum of environmental pollution and the increasing savings of non-renewable natural resources. This graduation thesis theoretically explain the environmental taxes, with all its characteristics, types, legal structure, advantages and disadvantages. In order to better understand their role and the meaning of research was carried out on the basis of the latest data on environmental taxes in the Republic of Croatia and the EU Member States and in the end a decision was reached. Although Croatia has recently joined the European Union have already seen great progress in the full harmonization with the community as well as in the introduction and implementation of environmental taxes.
