Business crises are more frequent and prevent normal operation of companies threatening its stability and success. The difference between successful and unsuccessful companies makes the ability to timely identification of the crisis and giving adequate response to the same. Beside the notion of a business crisis, it is important to mention the concept of crisis management. A key role in identifying and overcoming the crisis has crisis management whose skills affect on the ability of enterprises to survive in the conditions of crisis. Identification of a business crisis is an important step in resolving a business crisis. The first step is to analyze the wider environment in order to define the position of the company. The next step is to analyze the branches of which one determines the position of companies in the industry in which it operates. After analyzing the branches follows the analysis of the internal factors of the company. In order to identify the crisis, it is important to consider the whole company. The last step of identifying a business crisis is financial analysis and analysis of management system. In this paper we analyzed the group Dalekovod for which, based on performed analytic procedures, it has been concluded that the company did not adequately identified activities which showed a possibility of crisis occurrence. Within the selected period is noted that the company has not fully faced with all the symptoms of the crisis, such as over-indebtedness and insolvency, deepening the crisis and seriously jeopardize the company's business. Measures taken by the management are beginning to show results in the last year of the study period, and suggest a possible recovery from the effects of the crisis and untimely and adequate reaction to it.
