Abstract
Kako raste gospodarstvo zemlje i stanovništvo tako se količina i otpad povećavaju zato je važno pravilno gospodarenje otpadom; koje se očituje u smanjivanju količina otpada poduzimanjem raznih direktiva i mjera. Sve se svodi na sprečavanje nastajanja otpada i njegovog odlaganja na odlagalištima; važno je znati pravilno razvrstati otpad, odložiti ga za njega na predviđena mjesta, kako bi se otpad mogao reciklirati, a na taj način se smanjuje ukupna količina otpada, energija i troškovi. Povećava se briga o okolišu i njegovoj flori i fauni. U ovom radu se ističe važnost staklenog otpada, kao materijala, sirovine koja se upotrebljava u svim granama industrije. Staklo kao otpad ima jedno svojstvo da se jedino može 100% reciklirati da pritom ne gubi kvalitetu. Recikliranjem stakla štedi se energija, resursi i okoliš. U nastavku rada su napravljene analize otpada i staklenog otpada na području Hrvatske, Zagrebačke županije i pokazuje odnose prema drugim materijalima i recikliranju. Dobar primjer uspješne kompanije u Republici Hrvatskoj je Vetropack Straža d.d. koja je također uvrštena u rad jer proizvode staklene proizvode, koje dobivaju recikliranjem staklene ambalaže i dalje na domaća i strana tržišta.
Abstract (english)
As the economy of the country and the population grows, so the amount and waste are increasing, so it is important to properly manage waste; which is manifested in reducing the amount of waste by undertaking various directives and measures. It all comes down to preventing waste generation and disposal at landfills; it is important to know how to properly sort the waste, to put it down for it at the intended locations, in order to recycle the waste, thereby reducing the total amount of waste, energy and costs. Increases concern for the environment and its flora and fauna. This paper highlights the importance of glass waste as a material, raw material used in all branches of industry. Glass waste has one feature that can only be 100% recycled without losing quality. Glass recycling saves energy, resources, and the environment. In the course of the work, waste and glass waste analyzes have been carried out on the territory of Croatia, Zagreb County and show relations with other materials and recycling. A good example of a successful company in Croatia is Vetropack Straža d.d. which is also included in the work since it produces glass products, which are recycled from glass packaging to domestic and foreign markets.
