Abstract
U današnje vrijeme stres je postao svakodnevica većine populacije, ali kada isti prijeđe određene granice, dovodi do problema. Naime, velika količina stresa ima za posljedicu pojavu sindroma sagorijevanja, tzv. burnouta – stanje emotivne, fizičke i psihičke iscrpljenosti. Od svih dobnih skupina, stres je najprisutniji među osobama starosti od 19 do 39 godina, poznatijima kao generacija Y, odnosno milenijalci. Uz to, ta generacija predstavlja i najbrojniju generaciju na tržištu rada. Industrija koja se danas jako brzo razvija i sve više osoba želi raditi u njoj zbog dinamičnog okruženja je IT industrija, a upravo u njoj mnogi zaposlenici nisu zaštićeni od stresa. S obzirom na sve navedeno, u sklopu ovog rada provedeno je istraživanje kojim je, metodom anketiranja, obuhvaćen uzorak od 244 osobe, starosti 19 – 39 godina, koji rade u IT industriji u Hrvatskoj. Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi postoji li sindrom sagorijevanja među ispitanicima. Dobiveni rezultati obrađeni su metodom deskriptivne statistike, a pokazali su da je sindrom sagorijevanja prisutan među ispitanicima te da postoji povezanost između sindroma sagorijevanja i dobi ispitanika.
Abstract (english)
Nowadays, stress has become the part of everyday life for most of the population, but when it goes to far, it causes problems. In fact, a large amount of stress results in the appereance of burnout syndrome – a state of emotional, physical and psychological exhausition. Of all ages, stress is most present among people aged between 19 and 39 years, most known as generation Y or Millennials. In addition, this generation represents the largest generation in the labor market. An industry that is developing very fast today, and more and more people want to work in it because of the dynamic environment, is the IT industry, which is exactly where many employees are not stress-protected. Considering that, as part of the work, the survey was conducted through a questionnaire distributed electronically. 244 persons, aged 19-39, working in the IT industry in Croatia, were surveyed. The aim of the study was to determine if there was burnout syndrome among the subjects. The results were processed by the method of descriptive statistics. They showed that burnout syndrome is present among the respondents and that there is a correlation between it and the age of the respondents.
