Abstract
Manifestacije su sastavni dio turističke ponude Turopolja. Neke od njih su tradicionalne, dok je većina njih novoformiranih. Privlačeći brojne posjetitelje iz bliže ili šire okolice i doprinoseći višoj kvaliteti života lokalnog stanovništva, manifestacijski turizam je postao jedan od najrazvijenijih specifičnih oblika turizma Turopolja. Da bi destinacija uopće postala prepoznatljiva na turističkom tržištu vrlo je važno da manifestacije koje razvija prilagodi turističkim resursima kojima raspolaže. Zbog blizine grada Zagreba, čija je ponuda manifestacija mnogobrojna i raznovrsna te se manifestacije održavaju intenzivno tijekom cijele godine, nužno je da se razvoj manifestacijskog turizma temelji na autentičnosti resursa koje posjeduje. Samo na taj način može se osigurati prepoznatljivost na turističkom tržištu. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je utvrditi u kolikoj mjeri je to uspjelo u Turopolju.
Abstract (english)
Events are the main part of tourist supply in Turopolje. Some events are traditional, but most of them are newlyformed. Events attract many visitors from surrounding area or wider area and contribute to higher quality of life of locals. Because of that, event tourism is one of the most developed specific form of tourism in Turopolje. To become recognizable on a tourist market it is important to use available resources in further development of events. Zagreb as a capital and nearest city to Turopolje has many diverse events during the whole year. This is the reason why Turopolje and other destinations should develop event tourism based on authentic resources and only this way Turopolje could be recognized on a tourist market. The purpose of this master's thesis is to determine efficacy of event tourism development in Turopolje.
