The diploma thesis presents theoretical knowledge on the influence of advertising of tourism entrepreneurs of the city of Samobor on social networks. Based on the scientific and professional literature, this research shows the importance of advertising tourism entrepreneurs on social networks. Social networks became a daily tool of today, with younger population replacing socializing in the savage world and socializing on the Internet. They encourage friendships, shared interests, interaction and communication. Social networks have a great influence on promoting business, that are products and services. They became the most popular form of advertising, increasing the number of potential customers, more users will hear about the company, recommend to friends and thus bring in new ones. In addition to being easy to use, costs are low, there is a large base of leads that can reached, the brand becomes recognizable and audience targeting is easier. As with any form of business, as well the advertising of tourism entrepreneurs and social networks have a great impact on business success. The town of Samobor offers a number of attractions, events and specialties. It has been a favorite destination for many gourmets and visitors of the Samobor carnival for years. Entrepreneurs offering accommodation, camp, bio park and other services have decided to promote their business on the most popular social networks, such as Facebook and Instagram. The advantages of this form of advertising the city of Samobor have been examined in this thesis as well as its impact on business with Samobor tourist boar and through the profiles of these entities on social networks.
