Abstract
Fondovi rizičnog kapitala sve su značajniji izvori financiranja za društva s visokim potencijalom rasta. Omogućuju poduzetnicima jednostavniji pristup kapitalu i strateškim upravljačkim vještima. Osim toga, stimuliraju gospodarski rast, pridonose stvaranju radnih mjesta i mobilizaciji kapitala, potiču osnivanje i širenje inovativnih društava, povećavaju ulaganja u istraživanje i razvoj te potiču poduzetništvo, inovacije i konkurentnost. Iako se u poslovnom okruženju financiranje poslovanja većinom provodi putem klasičnih oblika financiranja poput bankovnih kredita, investicijski fondovi u posljednjih nekoliko desetljeća predstavljaju najvažnije pokretače financijskih tržišta. Njihova popularnost raste zajedno s razvojem proizvoda i usluga koje nude. Upravo radi toga, predstavljene su najvažnije prednosti ove vrste financiranja kroz primjere na tržištu Europske Unije i Republike Hrvatske.
Abstract (english)
Private equity funds are increasingly important sources of financing for companies with high growth potential. They provide entrepreneurs with easier access to capital and strategic management skills. Moreover, they stimulate economic growth, employment, capital, the establishment and expansion of innovative companies, increase the investment in research and development, stimulate entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness. Although the business environment is fundamentally financed by traditional financing, such as bank loans, investment funds have been the most important drivers of financial markets over the last few decades. Their popularity is growing along with the development of products and services they offer. For this very reason, the most important advantages of this kind of financing are presented through examples on the European Union and the Republic of Croatia.
