Abstract U današnje vrijeme, individualnost je izražena i poticana na svim razinama što u konačnici, u drugom ekstremu, neminovno stvara ambiciju. Ambicija, koja se prvenstveno ogleda u kreiranju vlastitih pravila, procedura, načina djelovanja, izbora polja djelovanja te pogleda na sinkronizaciju i simbiozu privatnog i poslovnog života, proizvodi razne neprofitne organizacije. Uslijed navedenog, nameće se pitanje što je to što osigurava dobar početak te daljnje razvijanje i održavanje uspješnih neprofitnih organizacija. S obzirom na brojnost pokretanih i brojnost neprofitnih organizacija koje se opstale, rad je potaknut znatiželjom za dubljim saznanjima o tome što je potrebno posjedovati te na čemu je potrebno inzistirati u vlastitim ambicijama vezanim uz osnivanje i vođenje uspješne neprofitne organizacije. S obzirom na specifičnost neprofitne organizacije koja se ogleda u neformalnoj poziciji i ulozi vođe, drži se da pravo vodstvo dolazi do izražaja. Pod pravim vodstvom smatra se ono vodstvo koje je utemeljeno na vlastitim sposobnostima pri čemu se u obzir uzima emocionalna inteligencija kao važna komponenta uspješnog vodstva. Emocionalna inteligencija, koja u posljednje vrijeme dobiva sve veći značaj, prepoznavanje i priznavanje u pogledu njezine važnosti i velikog utjecaja na uspješno kako privatno tako i poslovno djelovanje, zasluženo okupira pažnju mnogih.
Važnost teme ogleda se u sužavanju načina djelovanja vođe s krajnjim ciljem, a to je uspješna organizacija. Današnjica, koja leži na zajedničkom nazivniku brzina, promovira uspjeh preko noći te ne daje pravi uvid u sve što je bilo i što je potrebno za uspjeh. Tema ukazuje na ovisnost vođe i vodstva temeljenog na vlastitom djelovanju kao uzoru i iz tog razloga, drži se da tema može doprinijeti suvremenoj organizaciji.
Empirijsko istraživanje provelo se kroz polu-strukturirane intervjue sa raznim vođama na uzorku od tri neprofitne organizacije gdje su se istražile njihove sličnosti i razlike. Istraživanje je obuhvatilo vođe neprofitnih organizacija te se analiziraju njihovi pogledi o potrebnim predispozicijama za uspješno osnivanje i vođenje neprofitne organizacije, a sve s ciljem jasnijeg uvida u to što je to što pokreće i održava uspješne neprofitne organizacije.
Abstract (english) Nowadays, individuality is expressed and encouraged at all levels, which ultimately, at the other extreme, inevitably creates ambition. The ambition, which is primarily reflected in the creation of its own rules, procedures, models of action, choice of field of action and a look at synchronization and symbiosis of private and business life, is producing various nonprofit organizations. As a result of this, the question is what ensures a good start, continued development and maintenance of successful nonprofit organization. Given the number of nonprofit organizations that have been run and the nonprofit organizations that still exist, this work is driven by a curiosity for a deeper knowledge of what should a leader own and on what should he insist in his own ambitions related to establishing and running a successful nonprofit organization. Given the specific nature of the nonprofit organization, reflected in the informal position and role of a leader, it is assumed that true leadership comes to the point. In this case, true leadership is assumed to be the one that’s based on one’s own abilities, taking emotional intelligence into account as an important component of successful leadership. Emotional intelligence, which has recently become increasingly important and recognized in terms of its importance and great influence on successful private and business activities, deserves the attention of many.
The importance of the topic is reflected in the narrowing the way a leader works with the ultimate goal, which is a successful organization. Today, that lies on a common denominator of speed, promotes overnight success and does not give us a real insight into all that was and it is required to succeed. The theme points to the dependence of the leader and the leadership based on his own acting as a role model and for this reason, it is assumed that the theme can contribute to contemporary organization.
The empirical research was conducted through semi-structured interviews with various leaders on a sample of three nonprofit organizations where their similarities and differences were explored. The survey included leaders of nonprofit organizations and their views on the necessary predispositions for successful founding and running a nonprofit organization were analyzed with the aim to provide a clearer insight into what drives and maintains successful nonprofit organizations.
