Abstract
Nacionalna kultura ima veliki utjecaja na gospodarstvo na svim razinama, počevši od gospodarskog rasta i razvoja, utjecaja na organizacije do utjecaja na pojedinca. U današnjem poslovnom svijetu organizacije posluju ili imaju doticaj s globalnim tržište, zbog toga je krucijalno voditi brigu i kulturološkom aspektu poslovanja. Proučavanje jasnoće uloga na poslu je važno jer je dokazano kako ono utječe pozitivno utječe na stavove i ponašanje u radu. Cilj ovoga rada je otkriti postoji li povezanost između Hofstedeovih kulturnih dimenzija i jasnoće uloga na poslu. Hipoteze su postavljene na temelju iznesenih teorijskih saznanja i ispitane pomoću korelacijske analize. Otkrivena je pozitivna povezanost između distance moći i jasnoće uloga na poslu koja je i bila pretpostavljena. Hipoteza o pozitivnoj povezanosti između dugoročne vremenske orijentacije i jasnoće uloga na poslu se odbacila jer su rezultati pokazali pozitivnu povezanost kratkoročne vremenske orijentacije i jasnoće uloga na poslu. Iako istraživanje ima mnogo ograničenja, mogu se izvući zanimljivi zaključi o tome kako bi organizacije trebale tretirati svoje zaposlenike s ciljem povećanja jasnoće uloga na poslu.
Abstract (english)
National culture has a big influence on the economy at all levels, starting with economic growth and development, influencing organizations to influencing individuals. In today's business world, organizations operate or have connections with the global market, so it is crucial to take care of the cultural aspect of business. Examining the role clarity at work is important because it has been proven that it has a positive effect on attitudes and behavior at work. The aim of this paper is to find out whether there is a connection between Hofstede cultural dimensions and the role clarity at work. The hypotheses were set based on theoretical findings and tested by correlation analysis. A positive correlation between the distance of power and the role clarity that was assumed was found. The hypothesis of a positive correlation between long-term orientation and the role clarity at work was dismissed because the results showed a positive correlation between short-term time orientation and role clarity. Although research has many limitations, interesting conclusions can be drawn on how organizations should treat their employees in order to increase the role clarity at work.
