Abstract
Predmet rada je bruto domaći proizvod Hrvatske, njegova obilježja i kretanje kroz određeno razdoblje. Naglasak rada je na definiranju i objašnjavanju bruto domaćeg proizvoda i metoda njegova mjerenja. Osnovni cilj rada je ukazali na važnost praćenja bruto domaćeg proizvoda s obzirom na to da je on važan pokazatelj ekonomske snage i stanja u pojedinoj zemlji. U radu se analizira bruto domaći proizvod Hrvatske u razdoblju od 1990. do 2014. godine. Spomenuto razdoblje obilježili su proces tranzicije i recesija, Domovinski rat i provođenje stabilizacijskog programa. Spomenuti procesi uvelike su ograničili razinu gospodarske aktivnosti u Hrvatskoj i negativno se odrazili na visinu i stope rasta bruto domaćeg proizvoda. Rezultati provedenog sekundarnog istraživanja o kretanju bruto domaćeg proizvoda u razdoblju od 1994. do 2014. godine upućuju kako on stagnira i u posljednih nekoliko godina zabilježene su negativne stope rasta bruto domaćeg proizvoda. S obzirom na to da je hrvatska malo gospodarstvo i nema mogućnosti za širu ekspanziju rješenje je u povećanju proizvodnje i fokusiranju na izvoz. Prema službenim podacima u 2015. godini Hrvatska je doživjela gospodarski oporavak, a povoljna su predviđanja i za 2016. godinu.
Abstract (english)
The subject of the work is Croatian gross domestic product, its features and trends over a given period. The accent of the paper is on defining and explaining the gross domestic product and the method of measurement. The main aim of the paper is to point out the importance of monitoring the gross domestic product considering that he is an important indicator of economic strength and situation in each country. The paper analyzes the gross domestic product in Croatian between 1990 and 2014. The mentioned period was marked by the transition process and recession, War and the implementation of the stabilization program. The aforementioned processes have greatly limited the level of economic activity and negatively reflected on amount and rate of growth of gross domestic product. The results of the primary research on trends in gross domestic product in the period from 1994 to 2014 indicate that it has stagnated in recent years recorded negative growth rates of gross domestic product. Since that the Croatia is small economy and there is no possibility for a wider expansion, the solution is to increase production and focus on exports. According to official data, in 2015, Croatia has experienced economic recovery and for the year 2016 are also good predictions.
