Abstract Osobe koje upravljaju tehnološkim parkovima razumiju društvenu, gospodarsku, lokalnu, regionalnu i nacionalnu okolinu te provode razvoj tih okolina na temelju strategija samih parkova koje su nastale na temelju lokalnih, regionalnih i nacionalnih strategija razvoja. Oni razumiju ulogu tehnoloških parkova, kao i organizacija koje su koncentrirane na tehnološki razvitak, upoznati su s procesima rasta i razvoja malih poduzeća te znanjima koja su potrebna poduzetnicima, a sve kako bi mogli savjetovati poduzetnike i razumjeti procese stvaranja inovativnih proizvoda i operativnog funkcioniranja tehnološkog parka, stoga osim poznavanja organizacije malog poduzeća koja raste i razvija se, moraju imati znanja o provođenju promjena, vođenju projekata, komunikacijama, marketingu, nastupu na tržištu i prodaji proizvoda, menadžmentu malog poduzeća, klasterima te druga znanja i vještine. U radu je istraženo upravljanje Tehnološkim parkom Varaždin te poduzetničkim inkubatorima Enter Koprivnica (poduzetnički inkubator i inkubator kreativnih industrija) i Tehnološko-inovacijski centar Međimurje. Metode prikupljanja podataka koje su korištene jesu osobni intervju, službeni dokumenti te internetske stranice analiziranog tehnološkog parka odnosno poduzetničkih inkubatora. Provedenim kvantitativnim istraživanjem istražene su specifičnosti upravljanja tehnološkim parkovima odnosno poduzetničkim inkubatorima te menadžerske vještine koje su potrebne za upravljanje njima. Istraživanje je pokazalo da su komunikacijske vještine ključne za uspješno upravljanje tehnološkim parkom odnosno poduzetničkim inkubatorom, da je poželjno korištenje demokratskog stila upravljanja zaposlenicima tehnološkog parka odnosno inkubatora, da je izrazito važno da upravitelj/menadžment tehnološkog parka odnosno inkubatora posjeduje sposobnost povezivanja s drugim organizacijama, visokoškolskim institucijama i udrugama sličnih ciljeva, kao i da je menadžment tehnološkog parka odnosno inkubatora usmjeren na gospodarski razvitak, prvenstveno lokalne zajednice u dijelu stvaranja poduzetničke klime i inovacijskog potencijala. Također, za uspjeh tehnološkog parka odnosno inkubatora važno je i pružanje raznolikih i kvalitetnih usluga te popunjenost objekta.
Abstract (english) The people managing technology parks understand social, economic, local, regional and national environments and carry out the development of those environments based on the parks’ strategies. The strategies of the parks are based on local, regional and national development strategies. These people understand the roles of not only technology parks, but also the roles of other organizations focused on technology development. They are familiar with the process of small business growth and development, and are aware of competences entrepreneurs need, all in order to advise those entrepreneurs and understand the process of creating innovative products and managing the technology park. Therefore, in addition to having knowledge of principles of growth and development of small businesses, they should have knowledge of implementing change and managing projects, have communication skills, and understand marketing, market entry and product sales concepts, as well as clusters. This research deals with the management of Technology Park Varaždin and two business incubators – Enter Koprivnica (business incubator and incubator of creative industries) and Technology Innovation Center Međimurje. The methods of data collection that were used were personal interviews, official documents and the websites of analysed technology park, i.e. business incubators. The quantitative research explored the specifics of managing technology parks, i.e. incubators, and the skills required to manage them. The research showed that communication skills are the most vital skills for managing a technology park / business incubator, that the leadership style of technology park / business incubator manager should be democratic, that the manager/management of the technology park / business incubator should have the skills to connect with other organizations, higher education institutions and associations with similar goals, and that the management of the technology park / business incubator should be focused on the economic development, primarily of the local community through the creation of entrepreneurial climate and innovation potentials. In addition, for the success of the technology park / business incubator, it is important to provide diverse and services of a high quality, and the occupancy level of the facility should be high.
