Abstract
Mirovinski sustav jedan je od glavnih temelja na kojima počiva socijalna sigurnost svake države. Na razini pojedinca, perspektiva se mijenja prelaskom iz statusa osiguranika u status umirovljenika. Premda je temeljni problem kako pronaći dugoročno učinkoviti izvor financiranja, rješenje problema je poprilično složeno. Uspješno rješavanje uključuje niz faktora koje treba uzeti u obzir, kako na razini pojedinaca, tako i na razini cijelog društva. Građani moraju biti svjesni rizika smanjenja primanja u starosti i odgovorno se ponašati tijekom svog radnog vijeka u cilju osiguranja primjerenih mirovina u starosti. Situacija je takva, da osoba ulaskom u radno aktivnu populaciju mora odmah početi razmišljati o svojoj mirovini u starosti.
Abstract (english)
The pension system is one of the main foundations on which the social security of every state rests. At the individual level, the perspective changes with the transition from insured to retired status. Although, the problem of pensions comes down to the fundamental problem of how to find a long-term effective source of funding, the solution to this problem is very complex. Successful resolution involves a number of factors that need to be considered, both at the level of the individual and at the level of the entire collective. Citizens need to be aware of the risks of declining old-age incomes and make efforts to behave responsibly during their working lives in order to ensure adequate pensions.
