Abstract
Zbog povećanja broja turističkih dolazaka na međunarodnoj razini, sve su više izraženi pozitivni i negativni utjecaji turizma. Kako bi se minimalizirali negativni utjecaji, a maksimizirali pozitivni utjecaji, potrebno je implementirati načela održivog razvoja turizma u turistički sustav. U postizanju ravnoteže između načela održivog razvoja turizma značajnu ulogu ima i ponašanje turista. Odabrana destinacija u kojoj je provedeno istraživanje je Grad Novalja čiji se turistički razvoj temelji na razvoju party turizma. Takav oblik turizma povezuje se s devijantnim ponašanjem turista. Zbog negativnih utjecaja koji proizlaze iz takvog ponašanja turista, lokalna zajednica stvara otpor prema daljnjem razvoju ovog oblika turizma. Iz navedenog proizlazi važnost utjecaja na promjenu ponašanja turista koje se mora usmjeriti prema društveno odgovornom ponašanju, a glavni instrument za postizanje tog cilja jest uvođenje pravila ponašanja za turiste u destinaciji. Na razini Grada Novalje, pravila ponašanja turista su predstavljena 2014.godine, a provedeno anketno istraživanje pokazuje da je 53,3% domaćih turista bilo upoznato s navedenim pravilima.
Abstract (english)
Due to the increase in tourist arrivals at the international level, the positive and negative impacts of tourism are becoming more pronounced. In order to minimize negative impacts and maximize positive impacts, it is necessary to implement the principles of sustainable tourism development in the tourism system. The behavior of tourists also plays a significant role in achieving a balance between the principles of sustainable tourism development. The selected destination in which the research was conducted is the city of Novalja, whose tourism development is based on the development of party tourism. Form of this type of tourism is associated with the deviant behavior of tourists. due to the negative impacts arising from such tourist behavior, the local community creates resistance to the further development of this type of tourism. Moreover, it leads to the importance of the change in the behavior of tourists, which must be directed towards socially responsible behavior, and the main instrument for achieving this goal is the introduction of codes of conduct for tourists in the destination. At the level of the city of Novalja, the codes of conduct were presented in 2014, and a survey conducted showed that 53.3% of domestic tourists were familiar with these rules.
