Abstract
Na informativnim i informatičkim stranicama svakodnevno se koristi velika količina podataka te su zaštita i sigurnost tih sustava neophodna za poslovanje i konkurentnost. Sigurnosti informacijskog sustava nužne su u poslovanju na način da se koriste česte provjere i kontrole, kao i primjena zaštitnih mjera kako bi se smanjila ranjivost sustava. Smanjivanje zaštite i sigurnosti tih podataka za posljedicu može imati i njihovu zloupotrebu kao što je bio slučaj i sa Strava aplikacijom na čijem primjeru su provedena istraživanja. U istraživanju je prikazan napad na informacijski sustav 2007. godine kada su preko lokacije otkrivena imena vojnika i njihovog kretanja u tajnim vojnim bazama američke vojske na području Džibutija, Sjedinjenih Američkih Država, Malija i Afganistana. Neopreznošću vojnika i nezaštićenošću prava korisnika aplikacije, Strava je otkrila državne povjerljive informacije čime je ugrozila svoje korisnike. Prikazana je sama važnost sigurnosti informacijskog sustava, s ciljem ukazivanja na obavezne provjere i kontrole kako bi se spriječili napadi.
Abstract (english)
A large amount of data is used on information and IT pages on a daily basis, the protection and security of these systems are necessary for business and competitiveness. Information system security is necessary in business in a way that uses frequent checks and controls, as well as the application of protective measures to reduce the vulnerability of the system. Reducing the protection and security of this data can result in their misuse, as was the case with the Strava application, on the example of which research has been conducted. The research shows an attack on the information system in 2007, when the names of soldiers and their movements in secret military bases of the American army were discovered through their application location in the area of Djibouti, United States of America, Mali and Afghanistan. By the carelessness of the soldiers and the unprotected rights of the users of the application, Strava revealed state confidential information, which endangered its users. The very importance of information system security is presented, with the aim of pointing out mandatory checks and controls to prevent attacks.
