Abstract
In this paper main objective is delivering information and research results about affective computing. Affective computing is relatively knew field of study which deals with emotion recognition on behalf of certain device or AI. The term Affective computing is fairly wide so in this paper I will try to narrow it to activities that directly tackle retail industry and how implementation of affective computing changes todays business model of every company. In past years popularity and importance of emotion recognition has grown exponentionaly because of its impressive results and benefits to companies. Use cases and application of affective computing covers both private and public sector. Through this paper we will focus on retail industry and its relation to affective computing. One of the main focuses will be collecting and analysing emotional data for further implementation on business levels, all with the goal of creating unique and individual customer experience with unique purchasing decisions tracked by some sort of emotional device or AI.
