Abstract
Tema ovog diplomskog rada odnosi se na psihologiju cijena koja je jedan od čimbenika formiranja cijena u maloprodaji. Psihološki određene cijene temelje se na ideji da određene cijene mogu imati psihološki utjecaj na potrošače te mogu dovesti do veće potrošnje u odnosu na „normalne“ cijene. Postoji nekoliko načina određivanja psiholoških cijena, a najpoznatije su cijene koje završavaju brojem 99, odnosno cijene koje su nekoliko lipa ili kuna niže od okrugle cijene. Ovakve cijene prevladavaju u hrvatskim i svjetskim prodavaonicama pa iznenađuje činjenica da se ne zna u kojoj su mjeri učinkovite te djeluju li uopće takve cijene. U radu se objašnjavaju čimbenici određivanja cijena i metode formiranja cijena, pojam psiholoških cijena, razne metode psihološkog određivanja cijena te efekti i učinkovitost takvog načina određivanja cijena. Ovim radom analizirano je kako psihološke cijene djeluju na hrvatske potrošače i koje je mišljenje potrošača o takvim cijenama. Pomoću anketnog upitnika je provedeno primarno istraživanje, a rezultati pokazuju da su kupci svjesni psiholoških cijena i da više preferiraju normalne cijene ali unatoč tome vidljiva je djelotvornost takvih cijena.
Abstract (english)
The topic of this thesis is psychologycal pricing which is one of the factors in retail price formation. Psychologically determined prices are based on the idea that certain prices can have a psychological impact on consumers and can lead to higher consumption compared to „normal“ prices. There are several ways of forming psychological prices, and the most famous are the prices that end with the number 99, or in other words, prices that are few lipas or kunas lower than the round price. Such prices are prevalent in Croatian and international stores so it is surprising that it is not known to what extent are they effective and whether such prices work at all. This paper explains the factors of pricing and pricing methods, concept of psychological pricing, various methods of psychological pricing and the effects and effectiveness of such pricing. This paper also analyzes how psychological prices affect Croatian consumers and what is their opinion of such prices. A primary survey was conducted using a survey questionnaire, and the results show that customers are aware of psychological prices but prefer normal prices. Still, the effectiveness of psychological prices is visible in their answers.
