Abstract (english) | Renewable sources are very important in reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. In order to reduce their emissions, for the sustainabillity of our planet which is already in danger, it is desirable to take full advantage of new tehnologies that arealready mostly neutral, thus directly reducing the impact on the environment. Looking at the constantlly increasing number of households, more instalations of heat pumps would contribute to the much desired reduction of greenhouse gases, increasing comfort to end users, which is a winning combination for both users and our planet. There are several forms of heat pumps, and with the development of technology, their efficiency is increasing faster and there for also becomes more accessible to a higher number of users. This thesis presents the installation of a geothermal heat pump, a pump that draws energy from the ground, uses its constant temperature to transfer energy to the pump through a transmitter, glycol, which then uses that energy to heat hot water and underfloor heating systems.
Compared to other heating methods, the heat pump has the highest efficiency and is the only form of heating that does not pollute the environment at all. The investment is high, but profitable in a few years, and it doesnʼt pollute the environment.
The topic of this thesis is "Heat pumps as a renewable source of household heating." Renewable energy sources are becoming increasingly important. Here is presented the construction and costs of using a heat pump on a family house of 180 m2. The goal of this thesis was to show how cost-effective a heat pump really is, and what are the costs of installation and use compared to other heating methods such as pellets, wood and natural gas. Since the mentioned family house is owned by the author of the diploma thesis, a lot of own data sources were used. |
