Predstavlja transformaciju organizacije, vrijednosti i načina poslovanja primjenom digitalne tehnologije s ciljem potpunog iskorištavanja mogućnosti i stvaranja konkurentske prednosti.
Abstract (english) The term digital transformation refers to the integration of digital technology into all aspects of everyday life. It includes a process that begins with the very idea of introducing digital technology in business and finishes with their complete integration. It represents the transformation of the organization, its values, and ways of doing business with applied digital technology to exploit opportunities and create competitive advantages. As such, it is inevitable and necessary for the business world, but also other determinants of life. Due to the influence of digital technologies, the environment is subject to constant change which means the company must also change accordingly and adapt in increasingly innovative ways. The current global crisis is a great example, showcasing the growing need for business and education to adapt to new conditions and digital trends. Recently, following the global pandemic of Covid-19 and its societal implications, many areas of life were forced to move to the online environment. Work, lectures, and education, in general were mostly performed in the safety and comfort of one's home. Numerous communication platforms saw substantial gains in value along with a sharp increase in the number of users. Despite its innumerable advantages, there are also quite a few disadvantages due to work and education from home. This paper intends to analyze in great detail the pros and cons of main tools for network communication such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, while also focusing on the impact of the global pandemic and digital transformation of their development. The intention of the thesis is presented by the results of research conducted on target groups in secondary and university education, which will examine their attitude towards transformation, online communication, and education, as well as preferences and levels of knowledge of these platforms.
