Web accessibility is an inclusive practice that makes it easier for people with disabilities to perceive and understand digital content, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive difficulties. In 2016, the European Union adopted Directive (EU) 2016/2102of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, and according to its provisions, the Accessibility Act was adopted, which prescribes the need to use global standards when designing websites, their appearance and methods. navigation through content, search and structure. Web accessibility guidelines also enables access for people with learning disabilities, and one of these difficulties is dyslexia. It is estimated that 10 to 15 percent of the European population has dyslexia, and 9 to 12 percent of Croatian population. The company Omolab komunikacije d.o.o. under the brand name ‘Omoguru’ has created a font system and tools that make reading easier and better for people with dyslexia based on scientific research and feedback from users and experts. One of these tools is the Omoguru widget, a software add-on that, with its basic feature, the OmoType font system, makes it easier and simpler for people with dyslexia and other reading difficulties to read content of websites on which is implemented. This paper will show how Omoguru Widget was developed, its main features and how revenues were generated by selling licenses to public administration bodies and companies. The goal of this papir is to bring closer the concepts of web accessibility, dyslexia and text formatting through typographic elements. The aim of survey is to find out how important the features available through the Omoguru Widget are to the wider population. Primary data used for this paper were collected by the method of survey questionnaires via Google Forms.
