Abstract
Predmet ovog istraživanja je struktura radne snage u sektoru turizma na globalne razmjere unutar Europske unije, s posebnim naglaskom na radnu snagu i hrvatsko tržište. Ponuda turističkih proizvoda i usluga uvelike ovisi o zaposlenicima i njihovoj produktivnosti, koji su ključni segment razvoja turizma. Poduzetnik i zaposlenici koji pružaju turističku uslugu snažno utječu na kvalitetu ponude i zadovoljstvo krajnjeg kupca koji svoje iskustvo prenosi na ljude u svojoj okolini. Stoga je iznimno važno ulagati u obrazovanje i prosperitet radne snage, posebno u zemljama u kojima turizam snažno utječe na BDP i ukupni ekonomski razvoj, poput Republike Hrvatske. Konačno, važno je da vodeći dionici posebno prate potrebe tržišta i pravovremeno na njih reagiraju.
Abstract (english)
The subject of this research is the structure of the workforce in the tourism sector on a global scale within the European Union, with a special emphasis on the workforce and the Croatian market. The offer of tourist products and services largely depends on employees and their productivity, which are a key segment of tourism development. Entrepreneurs and employees who provide tourist services strongly influence the quality of the offer and the satisfaction of the end customer, who passes on his experience to the people around him. Therefore, it is extremely important to invest in the education and prosperity of the workforce, especially in countries where tourism has a strong impact on GDP and overall economic development, such as the Republic of Croatia. Finally, it is important that the leading stakeholders monitor the needs of the market in particular and react to them in a timely manner.
