In the near term, the country may experience faster growth than the growth rate required to maintain the current account balance, mainly when global conditions are favourable. A smaller public sector that is more stimulating for economic growth could be attained by cutting back on non-productive spending categories like administration, the military, and the police, improving the cost-effectiveness of public projects, and strictly enforcing limits on future transfer growth. Because Croatia has the knowledge and opportunities for innovation in the automotive industry but also lacks the financial resources that major automakers have, it is necessary to seek Mate Rimac's advice to develop the automotive industry.
