Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu bit će prikazani izazovi djece i odraslih s malignim oboljenjem koji sa sobom nose traumatska i stresna iskustva koja mogu imati trajne posljedice. Podatci Hrvatskog zavoda za javno zdravstvo svrstavaju maligna oboljenja kao drugi najčešći uzrok smrti u Republici Hrvatskoj. Nažalost, incidencija je sve veća, te predstavlja veliki problem kako za pacijente tako i za njihove obitelji. Budući da se u prošlosti često stavljao naglasak samo na medicinsku rehabilitaciju, pojavom pojma psihosocijalna onkologija, psihosocijalne implikacije su postale važan dio liječenja. Psihosocijalna onkologija je termin koji se odnosi na proučavanje socijalnih, psiholoških, etičkih i bihevioralnih čimbenika u liječenju onkoloških pacijenata. U diplomskom radu bit će prikazan utjecaj biblioterapije na poboljšanje života djece i odraslih s malignim oboljenjem. Biblioterapija potiče kreativnost i emocionalni izražaj, te pomaže pri suočavanju sa stresnim situacijama. Ovaj rad popratit će rezultati istraživanja koja su se bavila doprinosom biblioterapije u liječenju djece i odraslih s malignim oboljenje, te metode i tehnike koje koristi biblioterapija.
Abstract (english)
This thesis will present the challenges of children and adults with malignant disease that bring with them traumatic and stressful experiences that can have long-term consequences. Data from the Croatian Institute of Public Health classify malignant diseases as the second most common cause of death in the Republic of Croatia. Unfortunately, the incidence is increasing, and is a major problem for both patients and their families. Considering that in the past the emphasis was often only on medical rehabilitation, with the advent of the term psychosocial oncology, psychosocial implications have become an important part of treatment. Psychosocial oncology is a term that refers to the study of social, psychological, ethical, and behavioral factors in the treatment of oncology patients. The dissertation will present the impact of bibliotherapy on improving the lives of children and adults with malignant disease. Bibliotherapy encourages creativity and emotional expression, and helps to cope with stressful situations. This paper will be accompanied by the results of research that has engaged in the contribution of librarianship in the treatment of children and adults with malignant disease, and methods and techniques used by librarianship.
