Abstract
Mucanje je poremećaj tečnosti govora koji je karakteriziran čestim ponavljanjima glasova ili slogova, jednosložnih riječi, produžavanjem glasova blokadama, oklijevanjima i pauzama. Prisutna mogu biti i sekundarna ponašanja u obliku treptanja, nevoljnih pokreta glave i/ili udova te ostalih tikova, a poremećaj nosi i psihosocijalne i psihoemocionalne implikacije. Bitnu ulogu u savladavanju mucanja ima logopedska terapija. Danas se sve više koristi tehnologija u primjeni terapije pa tako i kod terapije mucanja. Online terapija je sve više zastupljena kao modalitet terapije mucanja, pogotovo zadnjih dvije godine tijekom pandemije koronavirusa. Ona nosi nove izazove, prednosti, ali i nedostatke. Cilj istraživanja u ovom diplomskom radu jest utvrditi postoje li razlike u zadovoljstvu i percepciji učinkovitosti teleterapije u odnosu na „klasičnu“ terapiju uživo te saznati koji je preferirani modalitet održavanja terapije kod odraslih osoba koje mucaju za vrijeme pandemije koronavirusa. Za potrebe ovog rada, kreirana je online, anonimna anketa „Zadovoljstvo osoba koje mucaju logopedskom terapijom u doba pandemije“ koja se sastoji od tri dijela. Prvi dio se odnosi na zadovoljstvo i percepciju učinkovitosti odraslih osoba koje mucaju terapijom uživo, drugi dio na zadovoljstvo i percepciju učinkovitosti online terapijom te treći dio na preferirani modalitet izvođenja terapije. U istraživanju je sudjelovalo 43 odraslih ispitanika koji mucaju. Dobiveni podaci prikazani su deskriptivnom analizom te su obrađeni neparametrijskim testom obzirom da se pokazalo da distribucija nije normalna. Rezultati su pokazali kako su ispitanici zadovoljniji terapijom uživo, ali nije nađena statistički značajna razlika kod percepcije učinkovitosti terapija. Također, pokazalo se da ispitanici preferiraju terapiju uživo više od one online. Obzirom da je online terapija relativno novitet u području terapije mucanja i treba vremena za prilagodbu od strane logopeda i pacijenta, rezultati istraživanja ne čude. Isto tako, mali je broj ispitanika u istraživanju pa rezultate treba uzeti s dozom opreza, ali ova tema je aktualna i bitna te ima prostora za daljnje proširenje istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
Stuttering is speech fluency disorder characterized by frequent repetitions of voices or syllables, monosyllabic words, prolongation of voices, blockages, hesitations, and pauses. Secondary behaviors in the form of blinking, involuntary movements of the head and / or limbs, may also be present. Stuttering has psychosocial and psychoemotional implications also. Speech therapy plays an important role in overcoming stuttering. Today, technology is used more than ever in the appliance stuttering therapy, especially last two years during the coronavirus pandemic. The aim of the research in this graduate thesis is to determine whether there are differences in satisfaction and perception of the effectiveness of teletherapy compared to in-person therapy and to find out what is the preferred modality of therapy in adults who stutter during a coronavirus pandemic. For the purposes of this paper, an online, anonymous survey "Satisfaction of people who stutter with speech therapy during the pandemic" was created, which consists of three parts. The first part refers to the satisfaction and perception of the effectiveness of adults who stutter with in-person therapy, the second part to the satisfaction and perception of the effectiveness of online therapy and the third part to the preferred modality of therapy. The study involved 43 adult stammering respondents. The obtained data were presented by descriptive analysis and processed by non - parametric test since it was shown that the distribution is not normal. The results showed that respondents were more satisfied with in-person therapy, but no statistically significant difference was found in the perception of the effectiveness of therapies. Also, respondents were found to prefer in-person therapy more than online. Given that online therapy is a relative novelty in the field of stuttering therapy, the results of the research are not surprising. Also, there is a small number of respondents in the research, so the results should be taken with caution, but this topic is current and important and there is room for further expansion of the research.
