Abstract
Disleksija je neurorazvojni poremećaj (DSM-5, 2014) čija su obilježja vidljiva tijekom cijelog života. Slika disleksije mijenja se s odrastanjem osobe te je uvjetovana jezikom i pismom zbog čega postoji potreba za istraživanjem disleksije u odrasloj dobi u različitim jezicima. U ovom su radu istražene razlike između skupine sudionika s dijagnozom disleksije i skupine sudionika urednog jezično-govornog statusa u vještinama čitanja naglas. Sudionici su ispitani na tri različita materijala: lista riječi, lista pseudoriječi i tri teksta. Za svaki se ispitni materijal mjerilo vrijeme čitanja, točnost čitanja i udio samoispravljanja. Neparametrijskim Mann-Whitney U testom utvrđena su neka od razlikovnih obilježja čitanja između skupina. Odrasle osobe s disleksijom sporije su i više griješe u čitanju sva tri ispitna materijala. Takvi rezultati mogu ukazivati na prisutnost nedostataka u automatizaciji dekodiranja i teškoće s izmjenom direktnog i indirektnog puta čitanja u odrasloj dobi. Dobiveni podatci važni su za proces dijagnosticiranja, terapije i oblikovanje prilagodbi za odrasle osobe s disleksijom. Količina samoispravljanja u ovom se istraživanju nije pokazala kao razlikovno obilježje između skupina, no s obzirom na ograničenja ovog rada, potrebna su daljnja istraživanja.
Abstract (english)
Dyslexia is a neurodevelopmental disorder (DSM-5, 2014) whose features are visible throughout life. The image of dyslexia changes as a person grows up and it is conditioned by language and writing, which is why there is a need to research dyslexia in adulthood in different languages. In this paper, the differences between the group of participants diagnosed with dyslexia and the group of participants with normal language and speech status in reading aloud skills were investigated. The participants were tested on three different materials: a list of words, a list of pseudowords and three texts. Reading time, reading accuracy and the proportion of self-correction were measured for each test material. The nonparametric Mann-Whitney U test determined some of the distinguishing characteristics of reading between the groups. Adults with dyslexia are slower and make more mistakes in reading all three test materials. Such results may indicate the presence of deficits in the automatization of decoding and difficulties with altering the direct and indirect reading pathway in adulthood. The obtained data are important for the process of diagnosis, therapy and the design of adaptations for adults with dyslexia. The amount of self-correction in this study did not prove to be a distinguishing feature between the groups, but given the limitations of this work, further research is needed.
