Abstract
Ciljevi ovog diplomskog rada bili su ispitati povezanosti između različitih izvora nastavničkog stresa i vokalnog zamora, nastavnog opterećenja i vokalnog zamora, dobi nastavnika i vokalnog zamora te dobi nastavnika i različitih izvora nastavničkog stresa. Također, ciljevi su bili i ispitati razlike između nastavnika i nastavnica u vokalnom zamoru i u izvorima nastavničkog stresa te između nastavnika zaposlenih u osnovnim i srednjim školama u vokalnom zamoru i u izvorima nastavničkog stresa. Od 74 ispitanika koji su sudjelovali u istraživanju, 40 je zaposleno u osnovnim školama te 34 u srednjim školama. Sudjelovale su 62 ispitanice ženskog spola i 12 ispitanika muškog spola, dobi od 24 do 65 godina. Kao subjektivna metoda procjene glasa korišten je upitnik Indeks vokalnog zamora (VFI-C), dok je za ispitivanje izvora stresa korištena Skala za mjerenje izvora nastavničkog stresa. Uz to, ispitanici su ispunili dio o općim podacima. Rezultati statističke obrade prikupljenih podataka pokazali su postojanje statistički značajne pozitivne povezanosti između prisutnosti simptoma vokalnog zamora i svih mjerenih izvora nastavničkog stresa. Navedeni podaci upućuju na to da je viša razina stresa uzrokovana mjerenim izvorima stresa kod nastavnika povezana sa samopercipiranom većom prisutnošću simptoma vokalnog zamora. Analizom podataka također je utvrđena statistički značajna razlika između nastavnika i nastavnica u razini stresa uzrokovanog mjerenim izvorima stresa. Neprimjereno ponašanje učenika, potreba za profesionalnim priznanjem i radno opterećenje veći su uzroci stresa za nastavnice nego za nastavnike. Opisani rezultati potvrđuju navode literature o značajnoj povezanosti stresa i vokalnog zamora kod nastavnika te upućuju na nužnost educiranja nastavnika o izvorima stresa i nuđenja mehanizama za upravljanje stresom.
Abstract (english)
The aims of this graduate thesis were to examine the relation between different teacher stress sources and vocal fatigue, teacher load and vocal fatigue, teacher age and vocal fatigue and teacher age and different teacher stress sources. Also, the aims were to examine the differences between female and male teachers in vocal fatigue and teacher stress sources and between teachers employed in primary/secondary schools and high schools in vocal fatigue and teacher stress sources. Of the total 74 participants, 40 are employed in elementary schools and 34 in high schools. The study involved 62 female and 12 male participants, ages 24 to 65. As a subjective voice assesment method, the Vocal Fatigue Indeks (VFI-C) was used, while a teacher stress questionnaire was used to examine stressors among teachers. Additionally, the participants filled in a part containing general information. Results of the statistical analysis of the acquired data revealed a statistically significant positive correlation between the self – percieved symptoms of vocal fatigue and all three teacher stress sources. These results indicate that the higher level of stress caused by teacher stress sources in teachers is connected to a higher level of vocal fatigue symptoms among teachers. Data analysys also revealed a statistically significant difference between male and female teachers in levels of stress caused by teacher stress sources. Inappropriate student behaviour, need for professional recognition and workload are bigger stress sources for female versus male teachers. The described results confirm the literature on the significant connection between stress and vocal fatigue in teachers and point to the necessity of educating teachers about the sources of stress and offering mechanisms for managing stress.
