Abstract
Na pitanje što je to vokalni zamor i kako ga tretirati još uvijek nema jednoznačnog odgovora te su brojni istraživači pokušali detaljnije opisati sam fenomen. Nanjundeswaran (2013) sažima problem definiranja vokalnog zamora te kaže da se vokalni zamor može definirati kao klinički sindrom ili se može definirati kao skupina fizioloških promjena nastalih uslijed pretjerane uporabe glasa. Cilj ovog diplomskog rada bio je ispitati postojanje vokalnog zamora kod djelatnika u pozivnim centrima, koji se nalaze u gradu Zagrebu i usporediti ih s kontrolnom skupinom koju su činili vokalni neprofesionalci, na hrvatskoj verziji upitnika Indeks vokalnog zamora. Istraživanje je napravljeno na 80 djelatnika u pozivnim centrima i na 80 ispitanika kontrolne skupine u dobi od 18 do 40+ godina. Korištena je subjektivna procjena glasa koja je izvršena metodom samoprocjene glasa pomoću upitnika Indeks vokalnog zamora. Skupina vokalnih profesionalaca je odgovarala i na dodatna pitanja koja su se ticala rada u pozivnom centru. Statističkom obradom podataka dobivena je statistički značajna razlika između dvije skupine ispitanika na svim varijablama upitnika Indeks vokalnog zamora. Također, statističkom obradom je dobivena statistički značajna razlika prema spolu, unutar skupine vokalnih profesionalaca, na četiri varijable upitnika Indeks vokalnog zamora. Na temelju dobivenih rezultata uviđa se kako djelatnici u pozivnim centrima imaju sve simptome vokalnog zamora te se preporuča edukacija o vokalnoj higijeni kako bi sačuvali zdrav glas koji im je glavno sredstvo rada.
Abstract (english)
On the question what vocal fatigue is and how to treat it, there is still no unambiguous answer, and many researchers tried to describe the phenomenon in detail. Nanjundeswaran (2013) summarizes the problem of defining vocal fatigue and says vocal fatigue can be defined as a clinical syndrome or can be defined as a group of physiological changes that result from excessive voice use. The aim of this graduate thesis was to investigate the existence of vocal fatigue among the workers in call centers, located in the city of Zagreb and compare them with the control group of vocalnonprofessionals, on the Croatian version of the Vocal Fatigue Index. The survey was made on 80 employees in call centers and on 80 participants who made the control group, aged 18 to 40+. A subjective voice assessment was performed using the voice self-assessment method using the Vocal Fatigue Index. The group of vocal professionals also responded to additional questions regarding the work in call centers. Statistical analysis of the data showed statistically significant difference between the two groups of participants on all variables of the Vocal Fatigue Index. In addition, statistically significant difference between genders was shown within the group of vocal professionals on four Vocal Fatigue Index variables. Based on the results of the questionnaire call center workers have all the symptoms of vocal fatigue and education about vocal hygiene is recommended in order to preserve the healthy voice because their voice is the main instrument in their work
