The concept of auditory processing refers to all mechanisms that are responsible for successful storage, processing and understanding of all received auditory information. People in which these abilities are disrupted do not have hearing loss, and the reason of difficulties in understanding of voice sounds lies in the central nervous system. Certain changes at the neurological level are possible already in the prenatal period. Apart from prenatal factors, there are also perinatal and postnatal risk factors. Foreign studies show that the ability of auditory processing is worse in children with some neurorysics, compared to children without any. The aim of this study was to examine the ability of auditory processing in children with some neurorisks using the Test battery for auditory processing disorders (Test PSP-1, Heđever, 2017) and to examine if there are any differences in this ability considering different neurorisks. The results of the study showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the ability of auditory processing due to the degree of cerebral hemorrhage but that there is a differenence considering type of cerebral hemorrhage. Respondents with bleeding in the germline matrix achieved statistically significantly better results compared to subjects with periventricular bleeding. Also, subjects with cerebral haemorrhage and another risk factor (preterm child or risky pregnancy) score statistically significantly lower results on the dihotic word test . The difference in the ability of auditory processing between subjects with cerebral hemorrhages and those with organic impairment does not exist. All respondents showed a weaker ability to understand words with low intelligibility.
