Abstract
Dječja govorna apraksija (DGA) neurološki je govorni poremećaj kod kojeg su oštećeni procesi konzistentnosti i preciznosti pokreta u pozadini govora. Temeljni problem je u planiranju i programiranju prostorno-vremenskih parametara kod sekvenci pokreta, što dovodi do narušenog govora te narušene prozodije. Osim teškoća vezanih uz govor i jezik, DGA se često povezuje i s nedostatcima u motorici. To je dijagnoza čija etiologija i dijagnostika još uvijek nisu do kraja razjašnjene. Cilj preglednog rada bio je objediniti dosadašnje spoznaje o motoričkim vještinama djece sa sumnjom na dijagnozu dječje govorne apraksije te pokušati doći do nekih sustavnosti u obrascima njihove izvedbe. Isto tako cilj je bio usporediti razlike između DGA i ostalih jezično-govornih poremećaja. U novije vrijeme puno se više pažnje u istraživanjima pridaje promatranju međuodnosa jezičnog i motoričkog razvoja što svakako doprinosi stvaranju novog gledišta na samu dijagnozu. Teško je na temelju spoznaja o postojanju motoričkih teškoća među populacijom djece s dijagnozom dječje govorne apraksije donositi ikakve zaključke jer se uglavnom radi o studijama s brojnim metodološkim nedostatcima. Jasno je kako određene motoričke teškoće u ovoj populaciji svakako postoje, ali je potrebno puno više velikih, populacijskih studija koje bi olakšale donošenje jasnih i nedvojbenih zaključaka o ovoj dijagnozi.
Abstract (english)
Childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) is a neurological speech sound disorder in which the precision and consistency of movements underlying speech are impaired, which leads to impaired prosody and speech. CAS is not only related to language impairments but also to impairments in motor development. It is a dignosis which is not yet fully understood considering its etiology and diagnostic procedure. The goal of this research was to examine all existing research about motor skills of children with CAS and to find some systematic nature in their performance. Also, the goal was to compare their performance with the performance of children with other speech and language disorders. Among all research, more attention has been given to interrelationship between language and motor development and that gives us a new diagnostic perspective. It is hard to extract any kind of regularities in the performance of children with CAS based on the research that we now have, mostly because of their methodological weaknesses. It is clear that some sort of motor impairments among population with CAS do exist, but to be certain we need to have much bigger, population studies with better methodology.
