Abstract
U ovome radu opisane su najzastupljenije norme korištene za kompresiju video signala. Opisana je klasifikacija objektivnih metoda ocjene kvalitete video signala. Prikazana je manifestacija artefakata gubitka paketa nastalih pri prijenosu videa mrežom. Dan je pregled postojećih algoritama za detekciju artefakata nastalih zbog gubitka paketa u mreži. Predstavljen je vlastiti algoritam za detekciju artefakata nastalih zbog gubitka paketa pri prijenosu videa mrežom temeljen na pristupu bez izvorne reference. Rezultati dobiveni razvijenim algoritmom uspoređeni su s postojećim algoritmima za detekciju artefakata gubitka. Novi algoritam postiže znatno bolje rezultate od nekih komercijalnih algoritama za širok skup testiranih video signala.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the most common standards used in video compression. The paper describes the classification of objective methods used in video quality assessment. Manifestation of packet loss artifacts is presented. An overview of existing algorithms for the detection of artifacts caused by packet loss is shown. In this paper, a novel algorithm for packet loss artifacts detectection is proposed. Results obtained from the proposed algorithm are compared to these of existing algorithms for packet loss artifacts detection. The new algorithm achieves significantly better results than some commercial algorithms for a broad set of test video signals
