Abstract
Glavni zadatak ovog rada bilo je razviti web aplikaciju za biciklističku ligu. Na početku rada objašnjena je svrha i korist web aplikacija te je objašnjeno programiranje web aplikacije za biciklističku ligu. Nakon toga, spomenute su tehnologije koje se koriste u ovom području programiranja. To su tehnologije poput HTTP protokola, AJAX metode za prijenos podataka i ostalih koje omogućuju programski jezici JavaScript i PHP. Nakon toga opisana je implementacija, funkcionalnost i korištenje baze podataka. Na kraju je opisana primjena administracijske i prednje strane ove web aplikacije gdje administratori, to jest voditelji, mogu administrirati ligu i evidentirati rezultate, a posjetitelji i natjecatelji koristiti pojedine dijelove web aplikacije te pratiti poretke i rezultate.
Abstract (english)
The main task of this final paper was to develop a web application for a cycling league. Firstly, the final paper explains a purpose and benefits of web applications, as well as the programming of web application for cycling league. Secondly, the paper mentions technologies which are being used in this area of programming. These are technologies like HTTP protocols, AJAX methods for data transfer, various plug-ins and others which are enabled by JavaScript and PHP programming languages. Thirdly, implementation, functionality and use of the database are described. At the end, the benefit and use of the administration side where administrators can manage and administer the entire league and competitors' results are described, as well as the front side of the web application which competitors and visitors use for tracking rankings and results.
