U ovom diplomskom radu opisane su mreže male snage širokog područja pokrivanja (engl. *Long-power Wide-Area Network*, skr. LPWAN). Detaljno je opisan koncept interneta stvari (engl. *Internet of Things*, IoT), njegove prednosti, razvoj, nedostatci te perspektiva razvoja. Predstavljeni su parametri vezani uz koncept interneta stvari te bežični prijenos podataka. Navedeni su temeljni podaci o tehnologijama bežičnog prijenosa i tehnologijama u mobilnim mrežama. In this graduate thesis, the Long-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) networks are described. The concept of the Internet of Things (IoT) is described in detail, its advantages, its development, its disadvantages and the prospect of development.
