Abstract
Tema ovog rada bila je proučiti tehnologije koje se koriste za proizvodnju toplinske energije za potrebe kućanstva s biomasom kao gorivom. Iz usporedbe se može zaključiti kako proces pirolize, iako je kompliciran i zahtijeva bolju regulaciju, daje veću učinkovitost kod korištenja drveta i drvnih prerađevina za dobivanje toplinske energije. To ne znači da se klasični proces izgaranja treba u potpunosti odbaciti jer će se i ta tehnologija proizvodnje topline usavršiti godinama koje nadolaze. Kotlovi koji rade na temelju procesa pirolize zasad su u boljem položaju od onih koji funkcioniraju na temelju procesa izgaranja. Iako su skupi i teški za održavanje, uloženi se resursi godinama vrate zbog visokih učinkovitosti peći temeljenih na procesu pirolize. Rečeno je kako biomasa zauzima popriličan postotak ukupno proizvedene energije u svijetu, a ovim će, u poglavljima objašnjenim tehnologijama, taj postotak rasti iz godine u godinu. Važno je reći da će s godinama koje dolaze, tehnologije koje koriste biomasu kao gorivo doživjeti napredak te će nekad u budućnosti biomasa zauzeti mjesto fosilnim gorivima te tako postati ekološki prihvatljivo rješenje za proizvodnju energije.
Abstract (english)
The theme of this paper was to study the technologies used to produce thermal energy for household use with biomass as a fuel. From the comparison, it can be concluded that the pyrolysis process, although complicated and requires better regulation, gives greater efficiency when using wood and wood products to generate heat. This does not mean that the classic combustion process should be completely discarded, as this technology of heat production will be perfected for years to come. Boilers operating on the basis of pyrolysis are currently in a better position than those operating on the combustion process. Although expensive and difficult to maintain, the resources invested return for years due to the high efficiency of the pyrolysis based furnaces. It has been said that biomass accounts for a considerable percentage of the total energy produced in the world, and this, in the chapters explained in technology, will increase this percentage from year to year. It is important to say that with the years to come, technologies that use biomass as a fuel will experience advancement, and sometime in the future, biomass will take the place of fossil fuels and thus become an environmentally friendly solution for energy production.
