Abstract
Učinkovitost i sigurnost ključni su segmenti prilikom pristupa internetu. I jedan i drugi mogu se poboljšati primjenama zamjenskog poslužitelja u računalnoj mreži. Prvi dio ovoga rada predstavlja uvod u računalne mreže i načine komunikacije u računalnim mrežama kako bi se lakše pristupilo problemu. Drugi dio rada predstavlja opis zamjenskih poslužitelja te njihovu primjenu. Kako bi se očuvala sigurnost i onemogućilo krađa podataka, koristi se zamjenski poslužitelj kao posrednik između klijenta i odredišnog poslužitelja te na taj način prikriva klijentski identitet. U slučaju povećanja učinkovitosti koristi se također zamjenski poslužitelj koji ima mogućnost spremanja već traženih HTTP zahtjeva te na taj način omogućava brže dobavljanje odgovora što je opisano i simulacijski prikazano u praktičnom dijelu ovoga rada.
Abstract (english)
Efficiency and security are key segments of Internet access. Both can be enhanced by using proxy servers on a computer network. The first part of this paper presents an introduction to computer networks and ways of communicating on computer networks to approach the problem more easily. The second part of the paper presents a description of proxy servers and their application. To preserve security and prevent data theft, proxy server is used as an intermediary between the client and the destination server, thus disguising the client's identity. Proxy server is also used to increase the efficiency because it has the ability to save already requested HTTP requests and thus allows faster delivery of responses, which is described and simulated in the practical part of this paper.
