Abstract
Internet stvari opisuje mrežu fizičkih objekata čija je svrha povezivanje i razmjena podataka putem interneta. IoT tehnologija može utjecati na svijet u kojem živimo poboljšavajući industriju, povezujući vozila i stvarajući pametne gradove. Međutim, veliki je izazov pokriti veliko područje koristeći IoT. Da bi se postigla pouzdana komunikacija, širokopojasne mreže male snage su dobro rješenje. Jedna od takvih tehnologija je upravo LoRa. LoRaWAN nudi mogućnost razvoja privatnih mreža i jednostavnu integraciju s brojnim mrežnim platformama rasprostranjenim širom svijeta. S komunikacijskim dometom od preko deset kilometara i dugim životnim vijekom baterija, LoRa tehnologija omogućava aplikacije male snage za velike domete i niske potrošnje. Neke od primjena LoRa tehnologije su pametni grad, pametno zdravstvo, nadgledanje okoliša, pametan uzgoj. Upravo zbog velikog dometa komunikacije, LoRa tehnologija pronalazi brojne primjene u poljoprivredi. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi potrošnju energije u slučaju korištenja LoRa tehnologije. Provedeni su eksperimenti kojima je utvrđeno da LoRa ima optimiziraniju potrošnju u usporedbi s ostalim sustavima koji su testirani u radu.
Abstract (english)
The Internet of Things describes a network of physical objects whose purpose is to connect and exchange data over the Internet. IoT technology can impact the world we live in by improving industry, connecting vehicles and creating smart cities. However, it is a great challenge to discover a large area using IoT. To achieve reliable communication, low-power broadband networks are a good solution. One such technology is precisely LoRa. LoRaWAN offers the ability to develop private networks and easy integration with numerous network platforms spread around the world. With a communication range of over ten kilometers and a long battery life, LoRa technology enables male power applications for long ranges and low consumption. Some of the applications of LoRa technology are smart city, smart healthcare, environmental monitoring, smart farming. Precisely because of the great range of communication, LoRa technology has found numerous applications in agriculture. The aim of this paper is to determine the energy consumption in the case of using LoRa technology. Experiments were conducted to determine that LoRa has optimized consumption compared to other systems tested in the work.
