Abstract
Ovaj završni rad obrađuje teme sigurnosti unutar bežičnih lokalnih mreža. Kroz godine, razvojem tehnologije dolaze novije i poboljšane metode zaštite lokalnih mreža. Kao prvi standard za enkripciju pojavio se WEP, a otkrivanjem njegovih nedostataka dolazi do privremenog rješenja – WPA koji je bio namijenjen za upotrebu dok ne dođe puna implementacija IEEE 802.11i standarda. Standard WPA2 koji je danas najpopularniji i najkorišteniji standard, dolazi s mnogim poboljšanjima. Standard WPA2 u... More službi je već 15 godina, no nije savršen te su otkriveni propusti. Svjesna propusta koji su otkriveni, organizacija Wi – Fi Alliance predstavila je 2018. godine novi i poboljšani standard – WPA3. Abstract (english)
This paper deals with security issues within wireless local area networks. Throughout the years, technology development has come up with newer and improved methods of protecting local networks. The WEP standard appeared as the first encryption standard, and the discovery of its shortcomings led to a temporary solution -WPA, that was intended for use until the full implementation of the IEEE 802.11i standard. The WPA2 standard, today's most popular and most used standard, comes with many... More improvements. The WPA2 standard has been in use for 15 years, but it's not perfect, and flaws have been discovered. Aware of the failures that have been discovered, the Wi-Fi Alliance organisation introduced a new and improved standard - WPA3 in 2018.
