Abstract
U ovome radu zadatak je bio upoznavanje s komponentama i principom rada LCD televizora te na praktičnom mjerenju procijeniti stanje pozadinskog osvjetljenja. Nakon uvodnog dijela i povijesti tehnologije tekućih kristala, opisane su glavne komponente te princip rada svih LCD televizora te su objašnjeni različiti sustavi korištenja istih. Slijedi upoznavanje sa metodama infracrvene termografije i fotometrije koje će se zatim iskoristiti za praktična mjerenja vlastitih LCD televizora. Na temelju mjerenja po navedenim metodama, provodi se analiza i donosi zaključak o stanju LCD televizora.
Abstract (english)
In this paper, the task was to get acquainted with the components and principles of operation of LCD TV and on a practical measurement to assess the state of the backlight unit. After the introductory part and the history of liquid crystal technologies, the main components and work principles of all LCD TVs are described and different systems of their use are explained. Afterwards is an introduction to the methods of infrared thermography and photometry, which will then be used for practical measurements of your own LCD TVs. Based on the measurements by the above methods, an analysis is performed and a conclusion is made about the condition of the LCD TV.
