Abstract
ITU je osnovan radi lakše međusobne povezanosti u komunikacijskim mrežama te je razvio preporuku E.164 koja se koristi u elektroničkom numeriranju (ENUM). ENUM koristi DNS za mapiranje brojeva. IMS spaja klasične mreže s mrežama temeljenim na IP-u. Omogućuje sigurnu i pouzdanu multimedijsku komunikaciju između različitih uređaja na različitim mrežama
Abstract (english)
ITU was established for easier interconnection in communication networks and has developed Recommendation E.164 used in telephone number mapping (ENUM). ENUM uses DNS to map numbers. IMS connects classic networks with IP-based networks. It enables secure and reliable multimedia communication between different devices on different networks.
