Abstract
Rad opisuje najvažnije značajke mobilnih komunikacijskih sustava i opisuje različite generacije mobilne telefonije: od 1G do 5G. Nadalje, daje pregled subjektivnih i objektivnih metrika za ocjenu kvalitete prijenosa govora u mobilnim mrežama s naglaskom na PESQ i POLQA metrike. U praktičnom dijelu rada primjenom TEMS Symphony uređaja provedena su mjerenja ocjene kvalitete prijenosa govornog signala u 2G i 3G mrežama.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the most important features of mobile communication systems and different generations of mobile networks: from 1G to 5G. Furthermore, an overview of subjective and objective metrics for speech quality assessment in mobile networks is given, with an emphasis on PESQ and POLQA metrics. In the practical part of the paper, by using the TEMS Symphony device the measuring of evaluation of speech quality in 2G and 3G networks was carried.
