Abstract
Kompresija signala omogućava kontrolu dinamičkog raspona signala. Ima nekoliko glavnih parametara koji su nabrojani i opisani u ovom radu. Također, nabrojani su i opisani glavni tipovi audio kompresora. Izrađen je model pedale za gitaru koji je prvo napravljen u programu NI Multisim, a izradu pedale odabrana je Orange Juicer pedala temeljena na Orange Squeezer pedali Dana Armstronga. Orange Juicer pedala poznata je po glatkoj kompresiji koju stvara pomoću JFET tranzistora. U radu su napravljene male izmjene na shemi radi bolje iskoristivosti efekta pedale, te je kasnije napravljen i fizički model pedale za gitaru na kojem su napravljena mjerenja i simulacije.
Abstract (english)
Signal compression enables control of the dynamic range of the signal. It has several main parameters that are listed and described in this paper. Also, the main types of audio compressors are listed and described. A guitar pedal model was first created in the NI Multisim program, and choice for the pedal desing was Orange Juicer pedal based on Dan Armstrong's Orange Squeezer. The Orange juicer pedal is known for the smooth compression it creates using JFET transistors. In the paper, small changes were made to the scheme for better use of the pedal effect, and later a physical model of the guitar pedal was made, on which measurements and simulations were made.
