Abstract
Razvojem USB tehnologije povećava se i broj uređaja koji se napajaju pomoću USB kabela. Pregled USB tehnologije napravljen je kroz razvoj USB standarda i njihovih priključaka. Kod razvoja USB standarda stavljen je naglasak na njihovu sposobnost upravljanja snagom napajanja. Za potpuni proces punjenja, osim USB kabela potrebni su i električni energetski pretvarači. Iako se u praktičnom dijelu ovog rada najviše koriste AC/DC ispravljači, napravljen je teorijski pregled za sve vrste pretvarača. Praktični dio odrađen je kroz mjerenje strujno naponskih prilika na USB portu prilikom punjenja tri različita uređaja. Pružen je pregled uređaja koji se koriste prilikom ove vrste mjerenja, te je detaljno opisan princip rada i mogućnosti korištenog uređaja (JT-UM25C). Analizom podataka dobivenih iz provedenih mjerenja utvrđena su trenutna stanja baterija uređaja te njihov kapacitet. Obrazložene su prednosti i nedostaci periodičnog mjerenja.
Abstract (english)
The development of USB technology has led to an increase in the number of devices powered by USB cables. An overview of USB technology has been made through the development of USB standards and their connectors. When developing USB standards, emphasis was placed on their power management capability. For a complete charging process, in addition to the USB cable, electrical power converters are required. Although AC/DC adapters are most commonly used in the practical part of this work, a theoretical overview has been provided for all types of converters. The testing was conductetd by measuring the current-voltage conditions at the USB port when charging three different devices. An overview of the devices used for this type of measurement is provided, and the operating principle and capabilities of the used device (JT-UM25C) are described in detail. The analysis of the data obtained from the measurements determined the current state of the device batteries and their capacity. The advantages and disadvantages of periodic measurements are explained.
